Straight Blades & Combs

• At our stations we have one cup filled with fresh combs the other with fresh blades in a disinfected handle, all ready to go before we start our day.

• After each client our blade is put away in an area separate from our fresh blades to be disinfected at the end of our shift.

• Combs are immediately placed in barbicide, then scrubbed and rinsed at the end of our shift.

• At the end of the day spent blades are disposed of in a sharps container and the handles are placed in a bleach/water formula approved by OPH and soaked for minimum 10 minutes, they are then dried and a new blade is loaded into the handle.

Covid-19

• All of our tools are regularly sprayed with disinfectant, as per OPH standard prior to Covid-19

• Masks are encouraged for our guests but not required

• Make are optional for barbers please let your barber know if you would like them to be masked

• All of our stations are 6 feet apart

• Hand sanitizer is located all around the shop

• Barbers will sanitize or wash hands prior to each client

• Hot towels are heated by a UV light

• Face brushes are cleaned regularly

Shop Standards

We pride ourselves on being one of the cleanest, if not the cleanest, shop in Ottawa.

After each client we take the time to clean our station and our tools before our next client. No stepping over someone else’s hair to get into our chair. Our station and all its drawers are vacuumed and disinfected on a regular basis. Washroom is routinely disinfected. We will always go above and beyond the standards placed on us by Ottawa Public Health.
